Help us to drive positive action for women in the tech industries
We are a vibrant and engaged community, committed to taking positive action – individually and for our industry as a whole – to help promote and generate an inclusive workforce and brighter and fairer future for generations of women to come. We are growing stronger, our voices are being heard more clearly and we are driving change across the industry, but we still need your support to maintain momentum, and we are always looking for Advocates to spread the word about TLA WiT.
What is an Advocate?
We are always happy to welcome new Advocates to our thriving organisation. There’s no time commitment or minimum engagement required to be an Advocate, but your primary role will be to act as an ambassador, to spread the word of TLA WiT. There are six general asks of any Advocate, irrespective of their level of engagement:
- Adopt the ethos of helping one another for the greater good as a means of establishing a strong and vibrant community
- Be supportive of London tech
- Attend and contribute to events (bring attendees, bring champions or potential sponsors)
- Help in organising events (online and offline)
- Contribute actively to the online community and help spread the word
- When ready, introduce new potential Advocates to TLA WiT that you have carefully judged will be a good fit with our mission

Whether you’re a new Advocate or you’ve been supporting us for a while, we’d be delighted if you joined the TLA – WiT LinkedIn Working Group. We now have over 400 members and growing. Not only will you feel the broader sense and strength of our community, but you will benefit from sharing ideas, inputting and influencing initiatives and shaping content for events, you also hear the latest news about our meetings and new opportunities, and enjoy networking with talented and inspiring members.
